This 2 days Mikumi park safari from Dar-es-Salaam is a short but rewarding safari. It is very suitable for travelers without much time but intend to have an experience of the wildlife at Mikumi National Park. The safari starts from Dar-es-Salaam (JK Nyerere Airport) prior to your arrival from Zanzibar by flight.
Our Safari Jeeps will be waiting for you at the airport in Dar-es-Salaam for a transfer to Mikumi National Park. The transfer will take about 5-6 hours to arrive at the park. The activities will include game drive in the park for the wildlife viewing.

DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
Early departure from Dar-es-Salaam use (5-6 hours) of driving to Mikumi National Park, approximately around 10.30am-11.00am depending upon your flight arrival from Zanzibar.
Prior to your arrival at the Mikumi National Park, you will have a half day game drive in the park after having a delicious hot lunch at the lodge. The half day game drive in the early evening will be awesome to enjoy in search for Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Hippos in the Hippos pools, Warthogs, Buffaloes, Elands etc. and later head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 2: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER TO DAR ES SALAAM
Get up early in the morning and head for an early morning game drive in the park search for wild game that you could have not seen the previous day. It will take a half of the day of a very busy game drive. You will have your packed lunch taken at a spotted picnic site then continue with an afternoon game drive followed up by a transfer back to Dar-es-Salaam arriving in the evening.
